After the success of the Guren Mk-II, the Kyoto House commissions a mass production version, so they developed this frame in order to test this viability. It is a seventh generation Frame, intended to be used by the leader of the Black Knights, Zero , during operations. It is a frame that most people would find difficult to handle, but thanks to Zero 's physical abilities and the enhancemets made in his body, piloting this frame is quite easy for him.
Design and Specifications[]
Performance-wise this prototype is no different from the production model. However, it has a peaky output tendency much like the Guren Mk-II, which turns it into a machine that ordinary pilots find hard to handle.
Its left arm is equipped with an early model of the Guren's Radiation Wave|Radiation Wave unit. Because it is a simplified version build with spare parts, both power output and energy efficiency are below the Guren's, but it is still capable of destroying ordinary Knightmares with a single burst.
Operational History[]
It was used for the first time during the Battle in the Battle of Port Yokosuka in order to capture Marianne, but Suzaku appears using his Lancelot and they fought against each other. Cornelia's knight, Guilford, appears and joins the Lancelot against Zero, but he defeats Guilford and his Gloucester, but the Gekka is destroyed by the Lancelot at the end of the battle. During the attempt to convince Suzaku to join the Black Knights, Zero uses it once more, but it is destroyed by the Gawain's incomplete Hadrons Cannon. An year later, Suzaku pilots a version of it against the Britannian forces that ended up inside the territory of the Chinese Embassy, used by the Black Knights as a place to avoid Britannia.
