The Liverpool is a knightmare frame utilized by the Britannian Empire and many other military forces in Code Geass Megiddo.

The original design. Changes include the gatling gun now being a basic machine gun and its colors are now standard Britannian blue instead of green.

Developed as part of the initial military application of the Knightmare Frame (or simply "Knightmare" at the time), the Liverpool was the first de facto attempt at a mass production design. Being what is now considered a Second Generation Knightmare, the Liverpool was little more than a Main Battle Tank placed upon two robotic legs (both equipped with rudimentary landspinners) and equipped with as many weapon and electronics systems that could be mounted thereupon. This included a somewhat downscaled tank cannon, an underslung anti-personnel machine gun, two missile batteries mounted asymmetrically on either side of the "turret" and six rear mounted grenade launchers. Though intended to also carry a Factsphere sensor, the technology was still in development upon the Liverpool's procurement.

In spite of its "primitive" design (especially when compared to future Knightmare types), the Liverpool proved to be a high enough performer, drawing further military intrigue toward the Knightmare concept when it was still considered little more than a "Walking Tank". More than several dozen would be produced for the Imperial Army until the development of the Ashford Foundation's Ganymede once more revolutionized the concept, as well as established the "true" Knightmare Frame for all to behold. As a result of this, the Liverpool would be all but completely forgotten overnight, with already existing units being mothballed throughout the Empire.

In 2025, the Liverpool would at last be utilized, specifically in the defense of Pearl Harbor (one of the bases in which units were stored) against the resurgent Order of the Black Knights. Unfortunately the Liverpool would be grossly outdated by this time, and so proved no match for the attacking Gurens that they encountered. Combined with the ferocity of the two Black Knight units' ace pilots, the Liverpools would be completely decimated in but a few minutes' time.
