The Morien is a knightmare frame produced for and utilized by Dorothea Ernst, the Britannian Empire's Knight of Four in Code Geass Megiddo.

This design is based on the Neros Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam, possessing a noteworthy Roman motif. Following that theme, it holds a pilum styled spear as its main offensive arm, and the scutum styled "Pridwen", which is almost as big as the Morien itself. Colors are red, grey and dark red.

Designed at Dame Dorothea's auspices to supplement the offensive oriented Bedivere piloted by the Knight of One (and Dorothea's husband) Bismarck Waldstein, the Morien is a comparatively defensive oriented unit. Though armed with two slash harkens and a maser vibration spear for offensive weapons, its main feature is the Pridwen, one of the four "named" weapons fielded by the Rounds. Following its mythological depiction, Pridwen takes the form a large Roman-styled shield, one almost as big as the Morien itself, which grants its host knightmare exceptional defensive power.

Similar to her husband's Excalibur, Dorothea can utilize the excessive energy of the Pridwen in a myriad of ways. The most obvious is to form much larger and powerful "Blaze Luminous" style shields that can protect the Morien as well any units nearby. That being said, Pridwen can be utilized offensively as well, such as generating energy spikes along its face for powerful ramming attacks, or even launching energy bolts and shockwaves like Excalibur, the Griflet's Caernwennan and the Ywain's Rhongomyniad.

Built for Knight of Four Dorothea Ernst, the aptly titled "Shieldmaiden of Britannia", the Morien was renowned as the most powerful defensive knightmare unit in Britannia's muster (whereas her husband's Bedivere was renowned as the most powerful offensive unit). Though as capable a weapon as its devicer a warrior, the Morien has yet to be deployed to an actual battlefield, as Dorothea, being Emperor Charles' de facto second bodyguard, remains within the Homeland to guard her liege alongside Knight of One Bismarck Waldstein. Even so, as the Great World War rages on, many believe it is only a matter of time before the Shieldmaiden is sent out into the fray...
